This position will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and administration of application. Key areas of experience for this person to be successful include software architecture, software administration, and software testing.

Responsibilities:

---

Ensure the software environments are stable and operational to support project activities through the design, build/test and implementation phases.

Perform application performance/load testing.

Implement, test and administer procedures for migrating program code to and from environments.

Implement, test, and administer procedures for backup and recovery of all program code.

Implement, test, and administer procedures for managing backup and recovery of sets of data to support iterative testing activities, training, etc.

Participate in the Detailed Design, System Build, and Implementation phases with the technical team.

Apply patches and updates as required, and perform testing of infrastructure components to ensure continued reliability of the infrastructure and application.

Required Skills:

---

PL/SQL experience.

Experience/familiarity with the JAVA programming language.

Application administration/support experience.

Expertise/knowledge in systems design concepts and standards.

Experience with application interfaces.

Able to validate key technical design decisions in terms of impact on performance and reliability.

Ability to anticipate problems, determine and implement solutions.

Expertise in testing methodologies and techniques.

Good verbal and written communications skills.

Strong planning skills.

Technology:

WebSphere administration and configuration.

Experience using LoadRunner or similar load testing software.

GIS Developer

Experience in planning, designing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting GIS applications in a enterprise environment and proficient in a combination of the following languages/environments:

• ArcGIS Desktop and Server
• Web Development - Flex, HTML, JavaScript, VBScript, XML,
• Knowledge of web standards
• Strong analytical and technical skills
• Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills


Minimum Requirements

• Background in Geography, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years' experience using ESRI ArcGIS products
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint


Preferred Qualifications

• ArcSDE/Geodatabase administration experience
• Ability to develop applications in ArcGIS
• ArcServer site development and maintenance
• Experience in web programming and design - Flex, HTML or Javascript, XML
