Business Objects Developer

Job Summary
The Director Tax provides direction and coordination to manage complex tax and accounting analysis for tax planning efforts including planning effective rate calculation and reserve analysis for interim and annual tax reporting including Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 (SOX 404) compliance. Establishes functional policy and interprets, implements and administers company policies and procedures as delegated by management. Ensures the plans and performance of the various functions within the organization meet or exceed management expectations.
Position Responsibilities:
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or other appropriate discipline from an accredited four-year college or university and ten (10) or more years’ related experience in the energy industry. A combination of education, experience and training may be substituted for these requirements.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required for this position.
• Requires five (5) or more years’ required experience in supervision
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language at a college level, perform basic mathematical calculations and learn to interpret and comprehend company policies, procedures, safety instructions, and other like documents used in an energy industry environment.
• Good organizational and planning skills and ability to work as a team to meet strict deadlines
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent use of standard software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel
