Job Purpose:

To play a lead technical role in the implementation of Solarc’s RightAngle for corporate Risk Management department


Key Descriptions/Responsibilities:
· Lead the technical effort of implementing Solarc’s RightAngle across four business units.
· Responsible for managing the technical portions of the implementation including report development and both in/out bound interfaces
· Assist the project manager in establishing a project timeline and managing tasks
· Ensure SOX compliance is followed throughout the life of the project and beyond
· Must be able to develop strong working relationships with users as well as other members of the IT team
· Interface directly with business users to define and document business requirements and generate functional and technical design specifications


Qualifications/Required Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in MIS, computer science or equivalent experience
· 8+ years of application development and support experience
· 5+ years of risk management exposure preferably in RightAngle
· 3+ years leading application developers
· Strong database development experience using MS SQL Server (T-SQL, DTS/SSIS) is required

· Experience developing applications using .NET technologies is required while PowerBuilder is considered a plus

· Energy risk management experience such as derivatives valuation, option pricing models, and mark-to-market calculations is highly desirable

· Ability to solve both business and technical issues

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with personnel at all organization levels
· Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced, multi-project and multi-system environment
